well the whole marine corps things has kicked back into gear again. in preparation for OIF(operation iraqi freedom or whatever u wanna call it) goin to arizona 2nd of april to the 27th. then on may 16th i will be activated. then its off to the sand box in july yeehaw. you may wander if im really scared about it...honestly im not. the only thing that makes me sad is that my mother will miss me alot. im a mammas boy at heart. ive been at drill the past couple weeks. doing alllllllllllllotttttttttt of training. now that imm back in the swing of things its gotten fun again. the PT sucks but it sucks for everyone so that makes it better in a weird way. if you see your buddy pushin it makes you wanna push more to. good shit. we ran 4 miles monday, played soccer and football on tuesday and we did combat conditioning and martial arts today wich was very very funnn. you just get to the point where you dont care that your in pain no more and you just have a good time. unfortunatly for me in my group of 15 i had 2 marines that are black belts in marinte corps martial arts. and one of them my commanding officer, was my martial arts buddy. and he beat the shit outa me, but hey...its not often that you get to beat on an officer so i gave him all i got to. good times. although i think i was doing more dammage to myself than to him lol wich is always the case as im a man of small stature regardless..its still fun to punch the shit outa people.

anyway.

i went to the monster mania 12 in NJ over the weekend. it was pretty cool. a real treat to see lots of the cast from the old friday the 13th films and get to chit chat with them about things. and they really appriciated my drawings i did for them and some reason kept noticing my militaryness and praising me for it wich is always good to(i think its the hair *shrug) steve dash(jason fro part 2) was awesome and americka oliva from the new film was awesome as well she kept me at her table for a lil while to talk to me about her brother being in the military and what not. my other fav, vc dupree(whom played julius in friday the 13th part 8) was so awesome. Betsly Palmer was soooooooooooooo nice and she talked to everyone for a while she didnt give a fuck. shes awesome. I gave her a big ol hug and called her mom haha. i think im done with conventions for now on, unless some of the jasons i havnt met are there then i might go. sadly Richard Brooker came off as dickish. he didnt seem to care about being their and hardly appriciated my drawing for him*shrug* i dont know the man maybe he has problems. oh well.

a quick opinion of the new f13th film. i fucking loved it. saw it twice the opening day. once ad midnight and another during the day. it was a straight up jason movie, couldnt ask for more. derek mears pulled off jason quite well. big congrats to him and i welcome him back behind the mask again.

swinging utters is a funny name for a band by the way.
